• Read each sentence out loud.
• Tell or write a creative ending to the story!
STORIES I
2) The girl says, “I am 8-years-old.”
3) The teacher says, “I’m sorry!”
4) Why?
1) A bird is in a tree.
2) The bird starts to sing.
3) A cat is watching the bird and runs away.
4) Why?
1) A girl is reading a story to a friend.
2) The friend is laughing.
3) The friend gets up and leaves.
4) Why?
1) Two friends are eating rice.
2) One friend starts to laugh.
3) The other friend starts to cry.
4) Why?
1) A group of people is standing on the street.
2) The people start to clap their hands.
3) When they clap, a car drives away.
4) Why?
1) A bicycle is next to a tree.
2) A boy is up in the tree.
3) A sign on the bicycle says, “Free!”
4) Why?
1) By the road there is a big bag of plastic bottles.
2) Two boys arguing.
3) A third boy runs away with the bag, laughing.
4) Why?
