Why the sky (आकाश) is blue.
Sunlight (सूरज की रोशनी) has 7 colors: red, yellow, pink, green, purple, and orange, and blue.
Sunlight moves (हिलना) in waves (लहर), like water. Some light waves are short (कम). Some light waves are long (लंबा). Blue light waves are the shortest (कम से कम) waves. Light waves move in a line (लाइन) like this: ------------ But when the light hits (पहुंचना) the air (वायु) in our sky, it moves like this:
Because (अधिक) blue waves are the shortest waves, there are more (अधिक) of them. That is why we see blue when we look at the sky!
