A wise story teller

There was a man called Dr. Seuss. He
wrote stories for children
.  He believed [विश्वास ठेवणे] that children can understand the most important lessons about life.  To teach these lessons he used humor [विनोद].  The words and the pictures in his book are very funny.

Sometimes he made up [शोध लावणे] funny words. They were not real words, but you could understand what he meant.

One of his most famous stories is called, "The Butter Battle Book".  It was about how meaningless [हेतुशून्य / निरुपयोगी] war is.  It is a story of how one group of people called the Yooks put butter on the top of their bread, but the "terrible" Zooks put butter on the bottom of their bread. And because of that there was a war between them.

Here are the first sentences of the story:

On the last day of summer, ten hours before fall [शरद ऋतूतील]...
... my grandfather took me out to the wall.

For a while he stood silent. Then finally he said,
with a very sad shake of his very old head,
“As you know, on this side of the Wall we are Yooks.
On the [other] side of this Wall live the Zooks.
Then my grandfather said, “Its high time that you knew of the terribly horrible thing that Zooks do.
In every Zook house and in every Zook town,
Every Zook eats his bread with the butter side down!

When this book was published [प्रकाशित], the President of the United States gave it as a gift to the President of Russia.  Both men laughed.  It was a good gift!

Wisdom:
You could say that Dr. Seuss was a wise story teller.  How was he wise?  What did he do that made him wise?
