Sleeping at work

A recent story in The New York Times newspaper said that many people don't work well today because they are too tired (थकल्यासारखे).  The problem is how long people work each day. But the problem is also that technology has made our lives more complicated (क्लिष्ट).
Different organizations have done research (संशोधन) about productivity (उत्पादकता) at work.  The studies show that if a person can take a nap (डुलकी) at work, or go for a walk, he or she will work better for the rest of the day.
But it is hard not to feel that someone is being irresponsible (बेजबाबदार) if he or she is sleeping while you are working hard!
The story said that we need to change our attitude (वृत्ती) about people being able to rest (विश्रांती) at work. In most places in the world, people would think you were a poor worker if you took a nap at work or went for a walk!

How do we solve the problem of having lots of work, but needing to take care of ourselves and our fellow workers?
     • What is causing so much work?
     • How is technology part of the problem?
     • What ways can we help each other work better (not more, but better)?
     • What things should be allowed at work?
